Monday, we got up very early because we had a long cruise into the Chesapeake. Here is our route:

Yup, that’s a short cruise into the Chesapeake. We were driving from the lower helm because it was so cold, we wanted to use the heat. I believe we had 3-4 steep and close together waves. Scott told me we were seeing bigger waves because we were going over a shallow shoal. DRAGONFLY was a champ through this. She just powered ahead at about 6.5 kts directly into these waves. However, when we hit a wave so big that the TV flew into the air, I had to cancel and we returned to Hampton, to a different marina. It was protected and turned into a cool but sunny day. I got a few boat tasks done.
