The Flight of M/V DRAGONFLY

The first cruise was a short jaunt out of Oriental, NC. On board was myself and my broker, Jim Edwards. We went over to the fuel dock to add diesel and then tested aquamaps and auto pilot in the Neuse river. See below:

It was difficult to get off the fuel dock. We had to back Dragonfly down Raccoon Creek, into a stiff wind. I mostly steered with the bow thruster as I kept over compensating with the helm. A tough first day!
